Real world. Hands on.

When your teen driver attends a Street Survival school, we teach them to control your car in unpredictable situations based on its handling limits. With a combination of classroom and in-car instruction, they master the application of driving physics using their car. They learn how to make good driving decisions and react more quickly. They become more aware and learn how to begin anticipating the actions of other drivers.

Driver’s Ed just isn’t enough. It’s one thing to know the laws, and be capable of getting the car from point A to point B when nothing unexpected happens. It’s another thing entirely to be prepared with car control skills when the unexpected happens. Not so sure? Maybe Danica Lacy’s story Overwhelmed and Undertrained will shed a little light.

The St. Louis BMW Club has long been a supporter of the Street Survival Schools, hosting annual events for over 10 years. For this year’s Street Survival School dates, please see our calendar.

To register, visit streetsurvival.org and search for events in our area. They’re usually held at the Family Arena in St. Charles, MO. Click on the event to go to the registration page.
