Gimmick Rally
Fellow rallyists:
The St. Louis Regions final rally of 2006 is Nov. 19. It is titled "Fox Hunt " and it is a gimmick rally, a course hunting marked rally.
We will meet and register at the Grand Prix Speedway in Earth City.
Registration starts at Noon (GPS opens Noon), and will have meeting at 12:45PM with a start for the odometer check at 1:00PM. After the 10-mile odometer check, we will start cars in 1 minute increments.
This is a hare and hound rally with lead car running 10 minute lead and you find markers to find the route. The winner will match or be nearest the lead car's mileage.
The total rally is about 60 miles in St. Charles County (incorporated and non-incorporated), good roads. Rally will end somewhere in county and you will transit back to GPS. Beginning and end will only be revealed during rally.
Driver and Navigator mandatory, drivers license and insurance card must be in possession per SCCA Regulations and shown to registrar. Registration fee $15.00 per car.
