The exposed switch8 viewsBe careful, the metal contacts and the little metal flaps on either side are loose in the housing. When you pop the top, they can fall out and will have to be found and carefully replaced.

This is the dastardly nib.12 viewsIt's this little bit of plastic that tends to break off. With the nib broken, it can't push down on the little metal rocker, which in turn cannot push down on the actual electrical switch.

The fixed nib13 viewsBe very careful not to lose the broken plastic that has the nib on it. You'll need to glue it back into place. If you've lost the plastic nib, you'll need to glue something else in its place to make contact with the metal rocker it sits above.
