Metric Mechanic Trip. Join Club members for a drive down I-44 to Richland, MO (about a 2-hour drive) to get a tour of Jim Rowe's Metric Mechanic facilities. We've done these annual excursions for the past several years and each year we all learn something new from Jim about building high-performance BMW engines and drive trains.

We will all meet in the parking lot across from Laumier Sculpture Park in Sunset Hills at 8:00 am on Saturday, March 27, 2010. We'll arrive at the Metric Mechanic at about 10:00 am. Lunch will be graciously provided by Mary Rowe for all attendees.

DRIVING EVENT
The St. Louis BMW Club is holding a High Performance Driving School at Gateway International Raceway on Friday Saturday and Sunday, June 4 - 6, 2010. Only Instructors and Advanced Students on Friday. Friday June 4th will also include a Club Racing School.

A couple of reminders:
1) Sign up for the package that meets your situation. There are distinct packages for Students and Instructors. The Friday tuning days are open to instructors and advanced students only. Advanced students must have the permission of the Chief Instructor to participate on the Friday session. Friday will also contain a Club Racing School which requires additional registration and approvals.
2) Payment must be made through MSR by credit card.

St. Louis European Auto Show
The St. Louis European Auto Show is an annual car show that benefits St. Louis Shriners Hospital for Children. The show features some of the finest cars in the St. Louis area. Models include BMW, Porsche, Mercedes, Audi, Bentley, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Jaguar, MINI, Austin Healey and many many more. This is a very cool event to go see....and it's FREE for spectators.
WHEN: Sunday, June 13, 2010
SETUP: 10am - 11am
SHOWTIME: 11am - 3pm
AWARDS: 3pm
WHERE: Plaza Frontenac (at the intersection of Lindbergh and Clayton Road)
SILENT AUCTION: There will be a silent auction for many donated items.
FEE: Spectators get in FREE. If you want to show your car, it costs $25 per car in advance ($35 after May 15) - Space is limited to 200 cars.
